I've learned a lot about the relationship between architecture and sustainability from our research of green buildings and their environmental measures in this module. We began by recognising the growing significance of green buildings in modern architecture and their potential to reduce global warming and enhance living standards.

I am able to learn more about the practical use of environmental methods in actual architectural projects thanks to the case study's hands-on methodology. I am also able to explore a real-world example and gain an understanding of the different accreditation systems and standards used to assess sustainability in construction by investigating and choosing a green building.

 

One of the best parts of the module was seeing the chosen building, since it gave us a close-up look at how environmental design principles affect the built world. The understanding of how architectural choices can affect energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and general occupant well-being has improved as a result of this hands-on learning experience.

Overall, this module provided us with a comprehensive overview of the role of architecture in addressing environmental challenges. It underscored the importance of integrating sustainability principles into architectural practice.
