semester i.

Architectural Design I

This module is like a starting point, helping us get the hang of designing buildings. We'll be doing hands-on activities in the studio to learn the key methods and principles of design thinking and spatial design. The focus is on expressing our own ideas about 'self,' the body, construction, and materials in terms of how buildings are put together.

Architecture History and Theory

In this module, I've learnt architecture from Ancient times to the Enlightenment era, exploring influences such as intellectual, aesthetic, technological, political, and economic factors on building design. The coursework includes detailed research on a significant building, investigating its architectural features. The learning platform stands out by delivering clear and well-explained details about module outlines and providing explicit instructions for assignments, greatly enhancing the overall positive and enriching learning experience.

Design Communication

This module enhances fundamental skills in architectural design communication through freehand and constructed drawing. Module assessments have significantly improved my proficiency, particularly in understanding diverse architectural drawing viewpoints. The learning platform itself is exceptional, providing well-articulated information regarding module briefs and offering clear instructions for assignments, contributing significantly to a positive and enriching learning experience.

semester 1.5

ARCHITECTURE & ENVIRONMENT

This module presents significant elements and problems that should be taken into account while designing an architecture. I can design building that are both aesthetically pleasing and ecologically responsible by taking into account the fundamental aspects of climate and how they affect architecture. The learning process focuses on the presentation of problems in realistic scenarios that occur in common areas and locations.
